About

As an only child, I learned to entertain and really like myself.  My friendships are lasting, many of which were founded from the age of 7 inclusive of today.  I'm married, have no children but have 3 birds and a dog who love and interact with me on a daily basis.  My focus has been business oriented, knowing my audience and being respectful of others' time, position, and age.   I've been a saved Christian since my teenage years, and take the Lord very seriously. He is part of the center of my life and I owe everything to Him. I'm not perfect and don't look for perfection in others, we are all vulnerable and should treat each other likewise.

During my career, I achieved certifications in Project Management (PMP) and became a Scrum Master (CSM and A-CSM).  Once retired, I plan to join my local Toastmasters Club for the enjoyment of public speaking to help with community projects I may lead.  I was affiliated with St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomfield where I co-chaired the Evangelism Committee and was part of their counsel as the Recording and Church Secretary.  Because we reached out to feed the local Senior Citizen community on Saturdays, I earned my food handling certification through CISCO and will renew it again this year.

My focus has always been on Senior Citizens because I learned many things from them.  As I aged, I listened to their voices to help guide me through life's process.  My parents were just that: parents and not friends.  They ensured that I was raised properly and did everything they could under the sun to ensure that I had a happy and productive life.  I thanked each one for this way before they passed: I owe then a debt I could never pay except by living clean, ethically and well.

Should I be remembered for my life's work or mantra, Langston Hughes' "A Dream Deferred" always resonated with me.  I've been a late bloomer and did things when they felt right.  I achieved my Bachelor's Degree at the age of 56 and not when I was young.  It was always something that I wanted to do.  I'm blowing up at the age of 67 and society should watch out!  I'm a Swing sister who wants to help the community around me.
